The Otter delivers the easy integration of a hydrotherapy treadmill into any existing pool. Its relatively lightweight and portable design makes adding a new feature to your Hydrotherapy program easy.
Expand the Range of your Hydrotherapy Program.
The buoyancy of water while walking or running on the treadmill speeds recovery from injury. A therapy patient's body weight is greatly reduced in the water. Hip, leg, and foot muscles and joints loosen up significantly, and the water's resistance causes the user to work harder and improve strength.
A patient will see improvements in mobility, and the natural soothing of water will allow a better night's sleep. Pain and swelling can occur after using a conventional treadmill. At the same time, with hydrotherapy, swelling is reduced with freedom of movement and full flexion of joints.
Now you can easily add the Otter hydrotherapy treadmill to your program. The lightweight, patent pending buoyancy compensated frame slips into and is removed easily from the pool. No site pre-engineering required as with others. Note the small footprint of the Otter when folded, and the wheels making it easy to move.
Affordability
The Otter represents a much smaller capital investment than any other hydrotherapy treadmill on the market. The Otter is currently being improved and will be more compact, yet just as competitive in terms of pricing.
Versatility
The Otter was built for versatility, and it's lightweight yet stable platform allows you to add another facet of hydrotherapy to your existing program. It's portable, wheeled, and folds to store easily.
Portability
The Otter was designed to be used in a multi-use pool or therapeutic environment. Watch for yourself (below) how easy it is to get in and out of the pool. No site pre-engineering required as with others.
Safety
The Power unit tether including hydraulic hoses and pneumatic control tubes runs to the treadmill in the pool, keeping all electrical functions well away from the water.
